See how recruitment works

The Interfraternity Council is the student-run governing body for Boise State's thirteen fraternities. We run recruitment, hold every chapter to one standard, and bring the chapters together.

Who we are. Eight student officers, each a member of an IFC chapter, elected by their peers to represent the fraternity community.

What we do. We coordinate recruitment, uphold conduct and risk standards, advocate to the university, and organise inter-chapter service and events.

Where we are. The Student Union Building, 1910 University Drive, on the Boise State campus. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.

How to reach us. Email ifcboisestate@gmail.com or message @ifcboisestate on Instagram.

IFC chapters

Select a chapter to see a photo and its recruitment chair's contact info.

Register online.

One form signs you up for every chapter's events. It doesn't commit you to joining.

Meet the chapters.

Meet the Chapters is one event with members from every chapter, held before recruitment starts.

Go to chapter events.

During formal recruitment each chapter runs its own events. You can go to as many as you want.

Bid Day.

Chapters hand out bids, which are invitations to join. Some chapters keep recruiting after Bid Day.

Student-run

Seven officers, elected by the chapters, handle recruitment, standards, service and the council's budget.
